Apolo Heating & Cooling designed and installed a full Mitsubishi Electric VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) air conditioning system across the 500 sq metre office, showroom, and canteen area of a 28,500 sq ft commercial unit — providing independent heating and cooling across all zones from a single outdoor system, with centralised building-wide control.

1 x BC (Branch Controller) unit for zone distribution
12 indoor units across a mix of capacities, matched to each area's size and use
9 wired zone controllers for independent local control
1 x AE-C400E master commercial centralised controller for building-wide oversight

The Work:
Our team handled the complete installation from design through to commissioning — refrigerant pipework, fittings and joints, insulation and lagging, condensate drainage, controls and cabling, fixings and supports, and full system commissioning. Serving offices, a showroom, and a canteen from one system required careful zone planning to give each space independent climate control suited to its use — from focused office areas to the higher footfall showroom and canteen — across a large-scale commercial site. The addition of the AE-C400E master controller gives building management centralised oversight and control across all 12 zones from a single interface.

A fully zoned heating and cooling system giving each area — offices, showroom, and canteen — independent climate control, with centralised management via the master controller. Commissioned and handed over ready for use

The Work:
Our team supplied and installed two independent heat recovery VRF systems to serve the full height of a five-storey office building on Welbeck Street, giving simultaneous heating and cooling capability across all floors. Concealed ducted indoor units were fitted throughout to keep the installation discreet within the office fit-out, with full commissioning and testing carried out on completion. Running two systems in parallel allowed floors to be split between them, giving resilience and flexibility across the building rather than relying on a single system for the whole site.
